More specifically, can it bypass an MAC (Media Access Control) address block?
I also wish to know what it can do in the first place
What can a VPN do?

Still trying to get around the parental filter, huh?
Devices control MAC addresses, not the network. If you can run the VPN under the current network, it will bypass the filter. If run beside or ontop of, it won't.

Ahah, okay, thanks! If absolutely needed I can probably sneak downstairs in the dead of night and do a soft reset on the AirPort Extreme, but I prefer to do it remotely if possible.

Never mind, I don't need a VPN any longer. I re-downloaded EzShare Pro which allows me access to the files on the AirPort Extreme (I needed the base station password to the AirPort Extreme to connect so I asked my dad for the password saying I needed it for the EzShare app and he gave it to me without a second thought) so I can (on a day-by-day basis so as not to get caught) edit the allotted time allowed for me to be online.

Okay so I figured this thread needed an update.
I got around the parental block around a month ago.
It was simple. All I did was get the Airport Extreme password (by getting an iPhone app that required access to the AirPort Extreme), go in, change the E in the MAC address on my iPod to an F, and clicked Save. What makes it better is that my parents actually allow me to have my iPod in my room at night, too!
I was almost about to crack the password with brute force, though. It was driving me that crazy.
