[Thought Crime]

Hey hey, everyone! I'm Thought Crime. I found this forum by just Googling "nerd forum". I am interested in nerdy things as well as other things like being a contributing member to forums. I have been a part of much larger forums but I have been wanting to find a smaller community to be a part of.

What kind of nerdy things do you like?

Computers. I enjoy all aspects of computers. I enjoy taking them a part and modifying when needed. Thinking about building my very first computer. It is either doing that or Alienware. But it would probably be more fun to build one.

 

Also was into comic books for a while and looking to get back into it.

 

I am afraid that may be as far as my nerd cred goes . . . as there are other aspects. But since this a nerd focused community, I'll just leave it as that for now.

Building would be far more beneficial. Alienware is effectively the PC version of a Mac; overpriced as hell and you're paying for the pretty colours, that's about it.

Worry not about your credentials, the basis of this place and nerdyness in general is that we do not judge anyone's worth as less than our own.

I effectively know nothing about computers compared to many on here, yet excel in my own areas.

Maybe we will help bring out some nerdyness that you didn't even know you had.

Yes, I should also note that I happened upon this forum in that exact way.

My old forum died so I googled nerd forum to find a new stomping ground and nothing turned up, then I waited a few months and did it again and this is what popped up.

Does that not piss you off when your own project just falls apart? Advertising is a hassle. And you feel like your just buggin' people. You invest all that time and then *poof* it is gone. AAARRGGHH! That really sucks when that happens.
