I figure some of you may have been wondering "Where's this fool been lately?"
Long story short, I've been having medical troubles. I won't get too into it, but I have a dangerous congenital disorder, and it's been getting worse. As a result, I've been in and out of the hospital over the last 3 weeks. Even though I've been seeing doctors, I can't get any /real/ help until I see a neurologist, which thanks to poor availability, being handed from clinic to clinic, and a paperwork debacle won't be until the end of May. So until then, I'm just trying to survive. I've had some pretty dangerous, life-threatening seizures recently, and it's left me really shaken up [to the point where I haven't been posting here, just lurking]. I've bit through my tongue numerous times, I'm bruised and battered, and I think I sprained my right arm, but I'm just happy to still be breathing, honestly.
On the plus side, I've made the first big steps towards living a healthier life. Not that it will help with the aforementioned condition, I just really can't argue /against/ trying to live a healthier life. At the request of my doctor[s], I have quit smoking [marijuana] and drinking. I've started a daily exercise regiment, I've started eating healthier, I take vitamins, the whole nine yards [I've even lost 5 pounds, go me]. Now my biggest problem is, no joke, boredom. I had no idea how much I'de used smoking as a staple for entertainment, and without it I've found myself bored of my favorite hobbies. I hope it will pass soon enough.
