I liked it.
I didn't think I was gonna.

But honestly any movie where Malfoy is getting his ass handed to him is a good movie. <__<

YUS! That movie was great. Very well made and thought out.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Julia: Awesome.

Right?
It was epic.

Spleen: Fuck Malfoy.
Every time he had a chance to change he turned into a bigger dick.
Harry should have roflstomped him and left him in the fire.

I really really loved the original series. I had a hard time at first acepting these movies. Really didn't like the first remake. However, this new one, it was pretty good and I must admit I did enjoy it. I am curious if anybody heard if they are going to remake all of them????

I like Malfoy...he's my fave Harry Potter character...but I didn't like his attitude in Rise of the Planet of the Apes so I guess it's okay that he got his ass kicked by a monkey.

That being said, I really liked the new movie. The part where Caesar attacks the horrible neighbor is my fave part. I was literally out of my seat, cheering him on. "Go, Caesar, go! Mess him UP!!" I loved the original Planet of the Apes, but the new movie was certainly epic on its own.

Really?

But he was such an ass in HP. >___>

I personally likes Hagrid best. <.<

Mt best friend looks just like him. >.>

Yeah that part was awesome.
May I ask what differentiated his attitude here from his attitude in HP for you?

Cause he was evil in both imo.

Bump! I just want to point out the fact that the Mo-cap actor for Caesar was also Gollum...I bet you never thought you'd see Gollum beat the crap out of Draco Malfoy.

I liked it

I kept asking "why isn't the military actually trying, though?", it seemed like they weren't serious about the "ultra-sentient ape" situation

It was probably in some bad fanfiction somewhere, lol

That's awesome.

Nope, but it was a great scene.

Yeah but think about police action now-a-days.

It's more like "Yeah, after we're done eating these donuts and screwin these hookers we'll get right on it.".

My favorite part was when Caesar screamed "NOOO!!". I actually gasped aloud in the theatre. I also liked how they modernized it by having the animals be science experiments instead of slaves/pets, it seemed more realistic.

I didnt like the new planet of the apes much. I liked the older one more. The new one was just all fighting and gore.Although, I did like the part where Malfo was beaten.

I agree. The original a more in depth plot and focused more on story, unlike the remake

The old one was probably better. It's easy for people who have only seen the new movie to say its better, but I feel as though that is a biased and predjudice statement. The old one is definitely better, and people should stop talking about which ones are better if they haven't seen both movies.

I definitely enjoyed this movie but I just prefer the older ones. I actually think that this movie was one of the only prequels which successfully tied in the theme of the other movies.
