Hey guys!
I am new here, so I am just gonna jump right into it, and hope you all will help me.
I am in the need of a new gaming mouse. Since I recently felt the need, and until now I have used a 5-year old Dell mouse (not optimal) I have begun the search of a new one.
I have 2 I tend to like the most, these are the Razer Ouroboros, and the Corsair Vengeance m65.
I am in doubt whether or not I will need the extra buttons from Razer Ouroboros, since I mostly play LoL, and if it then is worth the ekstra money.
I would love some opinions on this, if you'd like ;)
Thanks beforehand;
Matkrogh

I'm looking for a new gaming mouse as well, something fancy.
My budget is a bit smaller though, I'm considering buying a DeathAdder, it's perfect according to many...

I just dont like the ergonomics of it (DeathAdder), I like it when I can rest my thumb and 'pinkie' on some sort of "fingerrest".

I use an old DeathAdder at work - it doesn't look like it'd be comfortable, but it is.

The extra buttons definitely come in handy in League - I use a Naga and all my items (pots, wards, active items) are bound to side buttons.

I use a Naga, and I find that the buttons are useful for programs like photoshop and autodesk as well as gaming. It's also a very comfortable mouse.

These mice look more like scifi warships.

My boyfriend has one that doesn't even look like a mouse. The parts can all be adjusted to fit your hand comfortably and his hand is so big, the thing is just like three pieces of mouse held together with some screws.

I don't get it. But then again, I'm not a gamer.

Which one would be better, the Naga (hex?) or the DA?
Also, how's the durability?

I've had the DeathAdder a while... I want to say > 5 years but I could be a bit off. It has a short, if I hold down left click it sputters it instead of a constant clicked down status - it's fine for normal use but I can't use it for gaming anymore. (I could probably fix it but I really have nothing to gain from it)

I'm on my second Naga. The right click on the first one is broken - the plastic piece of the right click that pushes down on the actual button wore down. It lasted ~6 months but I loved it so much I decided to give the newer gens a try and they seem a lot sturdier, don't regret it one bit.

I ran the Diamondback from '05 till early 2011 when I bought the Naga. I've had no problems out of either, though I should note that I'm using the Epic version, not sure if emo was or not.I find build quality to be great, and I'm especially fond of their surface coatings.

You can change the color of the Epic as you please; the regular versions are a single glow color (blue, green, I think there's a red one as well).

This looks interesting: http://www.amazon.co...=A294P4X9EWVXLJ
Never heard of the brand though, but the reviews are full of praise.

on my gaming desktop I have a Logitech G300 mouse, and for my laptop I have a Steelseries Kana mouse, I like both, however I prefer the Logitech mouse. I find it feels comfortable, it has a decent DPI range, and it doesn't look all that shabby either. Plus, I've had mine over a year and a half no problems.

Used a Logitech G9 for years, it's programmable and even stores it's programming it self. You can have it switch it's program depending on the games/programs you run. Was great for when I was gaming. The shell can be changed, even it's weight can be changed to what you like.

Mouse wheel finally died, and I had to use my backup mouse, a DeathAdder.

DeathAdder works great for most stuff, but once you get used to play with a specially programmed mouse... The normal ones just won't cut it in my opinion :)

So if I was still gaming, and needed a new mouse for it, I would definitively go check for a newer version of the G9 :)

IIRC the razer software that comes with the DeathAdder supports programmability and application profiles. Can the G9 do stuff the DA can't?

I have been using the Roccat Kova + for 5 months or so now. It is very sturdy, and works for both left and right handed people. DPI range from 400 to 3200, so it has a decent range range. It is not wireless, so if you are looking for wireless don't go for this. That said wired tend to work much better in my experience.

It is completely programmable(as should all gaming mice be of course).

This is my first Roccat mouse so I cannot say anything for their better ones at the moment.

They are german made so you can expect good quality, and they come with a 2 year warranty.

The Kova+ was relatively inexpensive, i got mine on sale for $30 i believe.
