To put this simply, I am a social creature who has a very strange obsession with helping people.

even if we've never crossed paths or spoken once. I will often times go out of my way to listen and try to understand and help solve someone's plight, which is. i think. a common trait among most nerds to do so. due to years of whathaveyou and so forth.

So i thought this would be a nice companion thread to the "Bad Day" one.

if anyone would like to share their thoughts feel free to do so.

I dunno why but as of late I've been worrying that I'm kinda boring. I don't know why, seasonal depression maybe?

This is very possible. I happen to get the same way around the winter months. and to put things plainly. Everyone thinks their boring. even the extroverts. maybe you feel like you haven't clicked with anyone who shares your interests. which I can't really solve. but I Can listen.

So, Mr. Poo. (LMAO) why don't we share in a social excercise. I will ask you a question about yourself. and then you ask me one about myself.

Here goes.

What a nice idea for a thread! ^__^
I'm not only saying that because encouragement is the theme of the thread, either.
I don't think he needs to be immortal. I think all he needs to do is to write the right story. Because some stories do live forever.

I'd have to go with blue for the simple reason that many fictional characters who I try to emulate (in attitude, certainly not in the exact actions they employ). Then tend to have traits I want to exude, cunnig, intelligence, and above all else, altruism, even if I don't always show it. Also sorry for going on there, a habit of mine since I love to talk. A simple ice breaker here, are you a morning or night person?

Early risers tend to live longer than night owls, and also have a lower risk of heart disease and diabetes.
So you may want to stay right where you are.

Who would want to live forever while suffering from diebetes?

Eternal life without cake... No deal.

And I like the idea of a positive thread. You are all such nice people and deserve to be told so.

I`m always trying to help people,i love animals to bits and pretty much every hour of the day i can`t stop thinking about the ones that are involved in the fur trade and bear bile farming, this has such makes me a pessimis, and not to mention i sometime think am i really a nerd, because i get so involed/i worried so much about the animals that it interfers with my "nerdiness".
But yer this is a nice topic.
