"I know we don't call as often as we should, and we aren't as well behaved as our goody two-shoes brother Canada, who, by the way, has never had a girlfriend... I'm just saying" -Homer Simpson to the Queen of England

All kidding aside, this is unnerving. I mean, congressmen joking around is one thing, but writing up a plan of attack?

I call the ladies! (Mexican girls are gorgeous my friend)

Take em', I'll wait for France.

Like we said, we're batman. I think it's fine that we were (are?) prepared, after all you never know what could happen. Now the real thing that might worry me is how close did we come to this? also fair deal, now we just have to get these nations to agree to it, aaaany minute now.

Although I am curious to know, Affray, what's it like in Canada?

I can't think of any other place I would rather live.
Canada has some of the most beautiful places on the planet, if you know where to look.

Everyone seems to miss two very crucial points about invading Canada.

1. If it ever happened, every other country would simultaneously flip shits on whichever country is foolish enough to try a move like that.
Like when someone picks on the nice kid in class who does all the bully's homework.
You're going to have a bad time.

2. Canada does not take shit from anyone who steps up to the line and wants to throw down.
Canadian fighters have always been renowned for their ferocity and iron hard balls in battle, just Google the Blue Puttees, or any battle Canada was present for during WWII.
Socks will be blown clean off.
Plus, imagine how much harder we would fight to keep our own land.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

It's fake blah blah blah, it's a sham blah blah blah. I know this but I just gotta say, I've seen some canadian prowrestlers take some nasty bumps and keep going. I'm not one to doubt your toughness.

Bathing will be mandatory, as will thick glasses and fuzzy cat ears. Just the women, I don't care what the guys do. Just go smoke in the corner or something, I'm talking to Claudette.

This is step one, we drop one of these in Ottawa with a note that says, ‘More to come, if you sign below...’ and at the bottom is a form for the Canadian prime minister to fill out that makes them state number 51. Everyone wins! And I guaran-damn-tee you we don’t have a hockey lockout the year after they join. It’s just not done.

I also feel like Canada has some of the same advantages as Minnesota in terms of hypothetical military conflict.
Hunting culture is big in Minnesota, and Minnesotans mostly know a good deal about outdoor survival and stuff. There's a large amount of forest and wilderness, and the conditions are harsh enough that you sorta have to know what you're doing in order to deal with them.

So basically it's a small, highly forested, sub-arctic country full of practiced snipers.
In the case of Canada, it's a LARGE highly forested sub arctic country full of snipers.

I don't know if hunters are different where you are from, but i kinda doubt it. I would hardly call most hunters "Snipers".

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

Most people who call themselves "hunters" really just like to go get drunk at the deer lease and do stupid shit. On occasion managing to bring something down.

Canada is actually quite rigid with out gun laws.
People who act like that with firearms don't have them for long.
We also have very closely monitored wild game, so people can't just romp about shooting things with wreckless abandon.
If someone in Canada calls themself a hunter, odds are very good that they are exactly that.

I agree that being a hunter doesn't necessarily make you an effective sniper, but the hunters I know practice a hell of a lot.
One even has a clay pidgeon shooting rig in his yard that he uses fairly often.
Our hunters tend to be the real deal.

EDIT: I found this article after I posted here. It is quite relevant.

Aye, Britain was ranked first out of all countries for its 'soft power' i.e. its dominance over other countries in peaceful, pacifistic methods i.e. music, language, culture and filmography.

Twa is very slowly working on the first comic on a complete revamp. IRL keeps getting in the way though. We'll have something out by March. There, now he has a deadline.
