This is an excellent opportunity to buy a new MP3 player.

Sooorta. My battery life is already not that great, and I don't want to take up all my 8gig of space with musics.

Although possibly I could fiddle with the idea of replacing my sd card with a larger one. I've never tried it.

I'd just buy a bigger SD card for your phone. Generally battery life is much better when playing music vs talk time, and cards are cheap.

It's called Find my iPod.

If you're seriously done with Apple, I have to recommend the Samsung Muse, as it's the shittiest MP3 player ever (just look up reviews).

I don't know of MP3 players besides Apple's and Samsung's.

I hate Samsung, but not because they're Apple's rivals (at least, that is a reason, but a VERY, VERY minor reason).

I recommend an Archon. I have one and it's great. Very cheap (Mine's 8GB and cost me ~$25) great battery life, great sound quality. The buttons are kinda fiddly, but aside from that it's awesome.

Question: How hard would it be to copy all the stuff on my SD card to a new, larger SD card?

I'm imagining it as being somewhere between copy-and-past and you-need-special-software.

I have an SD card slot on my computer, and it's my understanding that many micro SD cards come with adapters for regular SD slots.

I didn't have an iPod touch. It was a nano.

Sandisk makes some mp3 players. They seem alright, especially given that they cost a fraction of the price of a similar apple product. =P

Just a simple copy/paste. Move it from the first card to your computer, eject, put in the new card and move it over.

I have a sandisk, they're actually not too bad. decent replacement as a good price.

I live life on the edge, I never eject before pulling out. (it wasn't intended to be an innuendo... but it is now.)
