Robert D Jr is so awesome. Thats why I think Iron Man 1 is second only to the batman series. Since they always seems to screw up Spiderman with lame actors (not the villians) every godamn time.

Personally, I think Iron Man is way more awesome than Batman.

IMO Iron Man is much better than Batman. Without even looking at all the cool stuff, the simple fact that Iron Man has no issue with offing his enemies when necessary, while Batman likes to claim he is willing to do anything become anything....as long as he doesn't have to kill to get there.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

I'll respect that you think Iron Man is better, because they are both good. But I think Batman has the edge since he has probably the best villians ever created who are up against him. I only think Batman is good when Robin is out of the picture too. But moviewise I think the three Nolan movies along with the two Burton movies are superior to Iron Man. Since I think the second Iron Man movie was pretty shitty. Its a close call between Iron Man 1 and the Dark knight I must say. But if Robert D Jr would have turned down playing stark the movie wouldn't have bin near as good.

I LOVE him as Iron Man.
I disagree, I thought the actor (and the whole scenario they built for him really), for The Amazing Spiderman portrayed him perfectly.
I actually am heartily disappointed with the Batman actors myself.
I may just be biased because of Michael Keaton, but a lot of them were not ideal imo.
And I can NEVER get past Christian Bale's 50 year smoker voice, idk why he was instructed to do so.
I did enjoy the grittiness they gave his Batman vs the more comic book feel off the early trilogy, however.
But even though personally Spiderman has always been my favorite superhero, Iron Man is definitely my favorite superhero movie franchise.
[big ups to mah man Capt. America too >.>]

Proud to say that I have not seen any of the Iron Man films. Even waited for The Dark Knight Rises to be available to rent for a minimal fee. Just don't care enough about comic book adaptations like I kind of did. The soure material angers me and so does the community.
Ugh . . .

Totally agree, Never liked the ones who played Batman. I still think Val Kilmer was the best batman but Batman Forever is not a great entry in the series. Christian Bale is good but there are stuff that I don't like about him. Keaton is also okey but he just doesn't look like a "batman"

B-but the Batmobile has high explosives and machineguns in it. Which... I never understood, considering his aversion to killing.

Well yeah but Batman supposedly hates killing, yet is equipped with multiple weapons designed for killing rather than subduing enemies. Whereas Iron Man is just like lol fuck you guys I have lasers

Don't get me wrong, batman is actually my favorite dc hero. That said in my opinion dc was never as good as marvel in creating heroes. Villians on the other hand DC does a fantastic job on.
