All the League players get together and do a few games.
Well I gathered that. Was wondering on the specifics, like attempting to break the meta or is just games.

Also, will it involve mics? because pre-mades without mics aren't nearly as fun.

What would be a good time for everyone?
7pm central or later, preferably. I would prefer to not do it on Friday or Saturday but if it's the only open day it's cool.

Do you think Yasuo will be LCS material?

With the current regen tank meta, nah. If Riot addresses that then maybe.

No, Yasuo's abilities don't give him a lot of power, and he has little presence in team fights so I don't see him being used in pro leagues.

I am watching eU LCS Promotional Tournament, and the first game between SK and SHC was close but SHC won team fights with beefy tanks. They had Randuin's Omen on 3 players and were just to tanky. Leading into the 2nd game they dominated the whole time and the game was mostly going around red's blue buff. I'm thinking they will only do well because of momentum. i think they only did well in the 2nd game from their first win. What do you think?

In my opinion Yasuo seem's a bit to OP. Mostly just because he has a stun, and shield. So if someone were to play him correctly and use those two moves in sequence he could just completely annihilate his opponent.

He's a mid champ, tons of them have stuns and shields. Such as Lux, or Morgana, or Orianna.
Pantheon is a fun mid too. Not the strongest, but definitely fun.

Yeah I've been playing Lux against him mid and everytime he is no challenge what so ever. The problem is his shield, while it looks good in theory only blocks ranged attacks that pass through it for a few seconds. Thus the only attack I have to worry about the shield with Lux is Q and honestly I use E way more.
his stun really only comes every three times so you have to be really good to actually use the stun properly without accidently unleashing it on minions instead. I pretty much dodged the stun everytime because he usually had to pass through my minion wave to try and use it on me.
Honestly I think they are miss placing Yasuo. If he has any place on the team then I'm liking it is probably in bottom lane. Either as an ADC counter or as a support. His shield would go well against say Ezreal or Lucian who uses pretty much completely ranged attacks. And his stun move is also a gap closer so it could take advantage of the fact that he is melee in fights against ranged characters.
Think about it, his W would pretty much makes Caitlyn's ult worthless. I'm guessing that is where he will eventually get placed.

I was spectating my friends' game and im not gonna lie they are feeders, but some carry them and even they were feeding Yasuo. It was ridiculous, top lane riven losing to Yasuo who ended up going 14/3/1.

Having used Yasuo for a few games now, I can definitely say he's fun. I don't think he's OP though. It takes a lot of awareness to make him work, since you have to keep a count of your stacks as well as cooldowns. If an opponent can get past his skillshots, he's basically helpless since he has to be built AD to work. This results in him having to either go as a pure glass cannon (focus him first, gg) or give him HP gear that renders his attacks a minor annoyance at best.
He is very good for teamfights though, especially if you can initiate with his knock-up and ult. Remember, the knock-up breaks any channeled skill, so in theory he could shut down 5 enemy ults with one attack. Plus his ult keeps the other enemies around him knocked up longer, leaving them at the mercy of his team.
The downside to him is that he's a melee mid champ. He doesn't have the range to properly deal with opponents like Lux or Morgana, and he doesn't have an escape, so if they get past his wall, a stun leaves him waiting to respawn very quickly.
Really, it all comes down to learning to play him. People will always claim a new champ is OP, because until they actually get to play them, they don't know. Jinx for example was considered OP, but her main weakness comes from the lack of an escape. Yes, she has raw power, but she's an all-in champ. Most adcs are based around poking and getting out if things get too bad, Jinx can't do that. She has to commit entirely, which means if she's outmatched, she dies.

There's no reason he has to be mid. I'd say he's as much a mid champion as Riven is, vayne, or even Master Yi after his rework. Yeah, you can play them mid, but there isn't a huge benefit of going mid over top.
Also, Yasou should be able to stomp morg. All you have to do is wall her bind and she has no potential threat for the next 11 seconds. I feel like Lux is largely the same, juking her e is fairly simple and by the time she has the mana regen to spam it you should have some form of resist if you can't dodge it.

Release jinx was absurdly OP. Before they hotfixed, the attack speed buff from her q retained while she was using rockets.

So just as I expected someone ended up going ADC with him, and he ended up being a serious force. Not sure if it will ever catch on, but it has been the position I've seen him played best so far.

I'm not trying to sound elitist (I promise) but by definition he literally cannot fill the role of ADC. An ADC is a ranged damage dealer. You could call him a melee carry (akin to Master Yi, Tryndamere) but unless he becomes ranged he will never be called an ADC.
On the topic of replacing the ADC with Yasuo, you're denying yourself 3 very important things.
- Someone who can safely and effectively siege a tower. (this requires someone ranged to avoid CC but high sustained dmg [read: ADC])
- Someone who can safely deal high sustained damage to dragon, baron.
- Someone who can shred the enemy tank/bruiser AND has enough sustain to re-enter and clean up the fight.
I haven't played enough Yasuo to speak to his strengths, but other melee carries have a few common traits
- If you get fed just force fights with your team and steamroll.
- If you don't get fed split push all game knowing that you will catch up on cs, be able to duel most champs 1v1 and have an easy escape plan for when they send 2+ after you.
- Try to fit in more as an assassin than a true melee carry. Trading your life for the more valuable life of the enemy ADC.
None of these traits will benefit you more than having an ADC.
