I discovered Varus is one of my favorite adc's. I started a new account because my first account was just bad. I also like Twitch and Ezreal, I wanted to try Vayne but I haven't been able to yet. If anyone wants to add me (I'm a slight newb) add --> bees are bees

Meh, the hidden normal elo and ranked system is almost a trap. You get matched against people at your skill level for normals, and it has a good amount of games to get it right. You go into ranked for the first time and you get 10 qualifier matches - for someone who just hit 30, doesn't have anywhere near the same experience as some of these other people and doesn't have the same champion pool and rune pages you're going to lose a decent amount of your qualifier games.
Losing in normals sucks, losing in ranked feels even worse - very discouraging process.
Really, you're trapped inside this bubble where gameplay that is good at lower elos is actually detrimental against better opponents - but since you're always playing with/against people at that level you never really get to know that it's wrong or whatever. You get dumped into your qualifiers and since you have no idea of where you stand before hand you end up wasting them and get yourself stuck in the pits of Bronze V.
Beyond that you get stuck with ridiculous trolls and people so horrible at this game that you have to make tough decisions and more or less consider them a dead asset to your team. I had a game where I was supporting and my duo friend was jungling as Udyr; he went to gank mid for TF, enemy mid ended up getting the kill on Udyr and double buffs from it. (TF threw blue card instead of yellow, #1 NA) TF ends up feeding two more kills; at this point Udyr goes mid, takes TFs farm for the next 10 minutes, gets big and between the two of us carrying we end up winning the game. His decision to take TFs farm made him look like a giant asshole, got everyone all pissed off but we ended up winning the game because of it.

There's a real lack of communication, even in normals >_> I just had a match where me and 2 of my friends were playing, and the other two on our side were premades. One of my friends called top as Poppy, other friend called mid Teemo. One of the others had Varus and the last had Vi (no Smite) so I called bot support. Next thing I know "no me and vi bot" with 10 seconds to go so I just pick a random champ and end up with Yorick, figure yeah he'll work up top.
Get into game, Vi goes top with Poppy. "Yorick why not support?"
FUCK YOU IN THE FACE, TWAT. I CALLED SUPPORT AND YOU SAID NO, GO TO HELL VARUS.
Rest of the game was Varus whining about me stealing his kills/farm. 2 of the kills were while he was dead, and another was me initiating and chasing down Blitzcrank, Varus runs in at the last second and fires an arrow, just before I hit Blitz with Famine. Famine kills him and all I see is "omg ks noob yorick"

He ended up 5/8 to my 6/10. I'm tempted to go into another ranked match, but I don't want to be relegated to jungle >_> can't do it, don't have the runes or mastery for it, and I haven't practiced it XD

I would say bare minimum before ranked you should be able to play 2 champs in any role. (top/mid/sup/adc/jungle)
Really though all you need for jungle is armor yellows and scaling MR blues; most junglers are best off with attack speed reds but AD/arpen is fine for the majority until you can get attack speed. Quite a few junglers also prefer move speed quints but AD/AS/arpen work as well.
At lower elos jungle is honestly one of the easiest roles (even up into plat most junglers don't really play like they should) and understanding how to will help you in lane phase immensely. For the first 10 minutes of the game I know who's going to get ganked and when and even without vision I'll almost always know where the junglers at.

Don't know how I'm not sick of Janna yet, she's 8/10 of my match history and one of those games was aram. <_<

WW is a pretty meh pick in general, he can't gank pre-6 and whent he ADC is smart enough to buy QSS it's luls.

Well I mean, he has no cc and no gap closer so it's like yeah he can do a little damage but he's either showing up to clean up or prevent a death.
Rule of thumb for ganking is can I get a kill/burn a summoner/prevent a kill: gank, otherwise farm or counterjungle.

Well yeah but that wasn't the issue. He literally did not know what gank meant. Top asked for a gank, WW goes "what is gank"
How the fuck do you get to level 30, get to silver in ranked and get over 600 wins in general...without knowing what a gank is? At one point he just stood behind the tower at bot, and called me a noob (as Sona) because I ran away from the FOUR CHAMPIONS BEARING DOWN ON US. Cunts everywhere.
Also, I've decided I'm going to learn jungle Udyr. I played him solo top against a Jarvan and I rolled face. He got first blood on me, but with a little cash boost from golems I managed to crush him four times after 6, three of those being while he had ulted and tried to use banner/spear to escape his own trap lol

Udyr is pretty wicked, my nearly diamond friend was pretty big on him for a bit. If they have a team that can't kite you you destroy with budget tank items (locket, etc)

I ended up building Ravenous Hydra, Frozen Mallet, Warmogs, Atma's Impaler, Trinity Force and Black Cleaver. Almost managed to solo Baron, but the enemy team charged in so I had to bail because nobody was watching out for them xD

Been bouncing in and out of my promo series, lost second promo series and was knocked down to 70 points. I was pissed, went to bed.
After work I played a game, second pick sweet get to jungle, naut vs amumu.
I know right away if I don't deny him xp he's going to out pressure lanes, so I have top and mid help me steal his red at start. (we had a nid as well so it was pretty safe)
So I get his red, go right to my blue with smite, then go do my red. He meets me there (but I was prepared for him), my bot lane and mid come down; they get first blood on our adc but Lissandra kills amumu after for double buffs.
After my back I help her dive an Orianna mid (after the kill she hit 6, was ezpz).
I'm getting ready to take amumu's red when it respawns (it's ~7:05) but he decides to gank top like a moron, so I shift down towards their bot lane and steal his blue.
After first blue he didn't get another one until 27 minutes in (he had smite, I didn't) but him showing up made them lose their inner turret mid and they ff'd after.
Dunked.

I really want to start playing mid or top. The only reason why I haven't is because of I suck at it. Why am I only good at adc and support why...
