So I figured since Lissandra will be 7800 for the first week I have plenty of time to get the IP for her, so I went ahead and bought Jarvan IV. I like him very much. First game I went 6/1, would've been 8/1 but Evelynn decided to double-ks me while I had Cataclysm up. XD His Q is overpowered as fuck, holy shit. And his passive explains why whenever Im against him he has such a hefty burst at the beginning of teamfights. Goddamn.

Bought Blitzcrank last  night, and I'm getting the item thing down to make with the pewpews. Early game I'm mostly trying to lure people where I can pull them in range of a tower and knock them in the air. By the time I get my second R skill point, I can use it to run in a group of minions and kill them all for gold. By then I can also be much more aggressive when going after champions.

I got bored and did a custom game. Me and 4 AIs vs 5 AIs. I built Jarvan to the point he tanked Baron solo. rofl. Now to go annoy more morons in Twisted Treeline, as I had a retard Kayle earlier who planned to report me for stealing kills and being a troll. As Jarvan. I was 6/2 to her 0/5. Then she claimed the 1/1 Yi was feeding their Jax. lulz.

So I bought Blitzcrank yesterday, still having a ton of fun with him. Wolf said I was using him as a bruiser, which seems to be working great for me. What sort of champion should I play next, given that I enjoy that play style?

You could try out Nautilus. x: He's a jungle with the same kind of play style. Not sure how good he is without a full set of runes, though.

Amumu would probably be up your ally as well. He's a jungle as well, much less dependent on runes/masteries.

You could also try out Nidalee.

Someone also asked me why I use the winter shopkeeper icon...

Something needs to be done about Nidalee >_> Even Darius doesn't do as much damage in one hit as she does. Hell the only champs stronger than her would be super-fed Nasus and Veigar if they abused their scaling attack.

Edit: Just went 7/0 in a Twisted Treeline match as Udyr. I like him. So tempting to buy him since he's off free tomorrow, but I want to save up .-.

That's right, 4 pairs of boots. I had 2 but someone said I needed two more for my hands.

Ah Udyr. Something about him just makes me want to rage out and bear stance some heads. I was always fond of him in the jungle. Slow to start, hard to get in and gank, but oh so satisfying when you can land a few hits. 'cause they ain't gon' get away.

I suck at jungling so I just play him in-lane. He really shreds people, especially since he causes damage over time. Even if you run away, you're still gonna die :D

I haven't played League in about a month or so. I should see how things have changed. I know ZAC came in, that's about it.

They should be releasing Lissandra soon. Aside from that they're reworking Sejuani and Trundle's visuals/mechanics, and they're changing the way skins work, prices and such. I haven't used Zac yet, I'm not in a rush to though. I haven't seen him played well yet, so until I see him work in a useful manner I don't really care lol. Plus he's kinda ugly >.> I like good-looking champs/skins.

Edit: They just released a Russian server, and the ability to switch your account between NA and EU. 2600RP lol fuck that shit

Zac is really powerful at the moment. I think one of the hardest things for new junglers to get a feel of is gank paths and how they can vary wildly between junglers. You know bot will typically ward tribush and dragon, so on Jarvan, for example, you can use your e->q combo to sneak into the river bush if you're purple team. Zac's catapult ability actually goes far enough that you can catapult from your teams tower, through fog of war, into the enemies with them having no idea of your presence.

He's pretty banay-nay in the hands of an experienced jungler.

I think that's the issue really. I haven't seen him in the hands of an experienced player. Sure I've seen people rack up 8+ kill streaks with him, but I've done that with plenty of champions, I don't consider myself to be experienced >.> Raptr says I'm on ~240 hours of LoL. xD I'm still not very good. But I've seen people rack up double-figures streaks with characters like Akali, and that's the level I consider experienced.

That's totally not the reason I started playing Akali... >.>;

Yeah, I would say Zac has a fairly high skill floor. Some champs are just really easy to do well with - jungle xin is a good example, ganks are more or less a matter of rolling your face across the keyboard. I'd also argue akali has a fairly low skill floor as well (not to say there isn't a night and day difference between a good akali and a bad akali), I think this is one of the main reasons you see some champs at lower levels of play do really well but higher up they can be completely worthless and vice versa.

Ya. I find now at 30 there's a hugely decreased number of "staple" champs. I like trying out new ones so I switch it up often, but it's extremely rare to see a non-Kata mid. I hardly ever see Soraka played, and until recently I'd never seen Karma at all.

I've been playing a good chunk of naut after his buffs, and oh my fk he's good. The CD reduction on his shield really molds him into a fast clear hard ganking monster. The 3 matches of him in my match history are 10/2/19, 8/0/7, 0/0/14 and more not in my match history that are similar. Since they changed the health spirit stone upgrade to kindlegem you get decently tanky early (I can usually afford it and boots after my first jungle session - first b is usually a little before blue respawns or after I give it to my mid).

The 10/2/19 game was pretty sketchy early, I had a Vi top that gave out first blood at 2:30 (I had planned on ganking her first but she dicked that up); I came back after she caught up in levels (she was lvl 2 getting back to lane, waited until 4) and gave her a really good gank - jarv burned flash, I landed the hook, got him down to 1/5th his hp. Vi was low from baiting, I expected her to b so I go back to farm mode planning to gank her once she's full since jarv flash down. Nope, she sticks around and gets ganked, 2/0 jarv. At this point I had to make the tough decision to call her lane dead - there was no saving it and she was generally speaking bad and a waste of my time. Mid was barely holding up and bot was crumbling, so I camped the fk out of mid each time getting a kill. I held bottom together, giving them a couple good ganks and securing drag twice because of it. Unfortunately at this point I have the majority of our teams kills (I intentionally try to let laners have them), so I end up with a wicked early sunfire and SotAG and am more or less an immovable object. We start getting into fights (which I was fairly certain we'd lose) but between lux and myself the 4/0 jarv got shut down hard. Early on with that much health on naut the scaling on his W is a bit insane; you're tanky as hell and pumping out tons of dmg. We have three or four good team fights, not necessarily acing them but definitely winning and pressuring objectives. After those fights my dmg really started to taper but trist was collecting kills and vi was finally starting to get tanky enough to live in fights with me.

tl;dr: naut OP, does too much dmg mid game for how tanky he is and how much CC he has and can put two fail lanes on his back.

His win rates are looking really good atm (53-55% over the past 8 days; for point of ref. highest weekly is rumble @ 55%), willing to bet he's going to be picked or banned in games again; freelo until he's nerfed, or sunfire is nerfed or SotAG is nerfed.

On a completely different note, I played Olaf top for the first time since s2. I was stuck going top in ranked and I haven't done much of it outside of singed early in the season so I was pretty nervous. To make things better I get counter picked by a kayle (seriously, I fking hate having to pick top/mid in first round). I played it cool, dominated her in lane by rushing an early giants belt and abusing bushes when her E was up. We lost (bot and mid both fed) but I was top dmg with all tank items; felt good.

I think most people do. It's the default 1-up to give to people for "I'm sorry the rest of your team sucked"
