I remember seeing a threat on it too. Maybe the console section? Or maybe it was discussed in another thread?
That's what I thought, but after a few searches, nothing turns up
so strange

'WATCH OUT! DANGEROUS MASKED MAN OUT TO KILL YOU'
That kinda threat?
I was more thinking 'Don't look or it takes you!'

Terrible game >.> It's visually dull, and the gameplay is...dull. It was massively overhyped for what it is.
I can get over the generall dullness of the look, but yes the gameplay is lame.
What bothered me most is that basically in the first ten minutes of playing you are handed your armour, your weapons, your goals, and everything else in the game like its no big deal.
"Here you go, screw depth and achievement! Just take all this crap and go kill everyone until the end credits roll! Super great!"
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

To be fair, if a game sets itself up that way and is straight forward about it, I didn't see anything about the same that suggested you had to struggle. Thing I didn't like about it is first person, even in the elder scrolls I play third
I expected Dishonoured to be third person.
They made it seem like it was going to be an Assassin's Creed-esque third person climber with steampunk magic overtones.

The only fun I had with it was knocking out guards and placing them in compromising positions.

My main complaint was that it was played up to be this super-awesome assassination game with countless methods of offing your mark. But no.
The only fun I had with it was knocking out guards and placing them in compromising positions.
Kindred spirits in that respect.
Man those guards were gay.

They were just disrespectful entirely. One of the guardhouses had some kind of 5-man orgy going on with one of them just sat in a chair like he was king poop or somethin'.
What the hell goes on in these Victorian style brains that makes them all so damn perverse?
Maybe it is all the whale oil fumes in their lungs, or the atrocious foods they eat that are slowly poisoning them until they are just sex craved lunatics humping their way around the city with reckless abandon.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

After beating it a few times, it took cheats to breath any life into it, though
But man, the cheats really make everything fun and irrelevant. It makes the game more of a playground, which is how I felt the general feel of the game should have been.
