Gunsmith Cats is pretty cool, its like an american eighties crime action comedy movie.

Riding Bean is also good (one of the characters in GSC was used in there but they changed her a bit and there is no connection), there are a few suggestive mature themed scenes in that one though which made me a bit uncomfortable while watching this with my brother around, so you might want to consider that should you get curious. Japanese folks.

Cowboy Bebop is my favorite, naturally.

But Darker Than Black is worth mentioning, too!
Imagine if Batman were less angsty, and he worked as a mercenary for a mysterious group called the "Syndicate," and he could kill people with electricity from his hands. That's the main character of Darker Than Black.

My girlfriend keeps wanting me to watch FLCL. I've downloaded it and watched like the first two episodes with her, but keep forgetting to watch the rest.

There's a plethora of anime I enjoy, it's hard to pick a favorite.

I guess they'd classify as ones you'd watch over and over again.

ATM mine would be Hellsing, Ergo Proxy, Kodomo No Omocha, and Furi Kuri.

Toradora! is my all time favorite. It has been since episode two was first released and it still remains so.

HARD QUESTION! I've been watching anime for a very long time >.<

Since a bunch of people already said FLCL I'll say mine are Outlaw Star and Baccano. They're both not too long, really funny and an amazing storyline.
I also love Hetalia: Axis Powers buuuuuut that's only for super history nerds such as myself I think.

Perfect pacing, perfect mix of story humor and suspense, and perfect ending

My favourite animes differs day to day. At the moment it's Berserk, despite how old it is. It was Bleach for quite a while though, but it definitely got repetitive. Death Note was amazing but Akira has to be my all time favourite.
