I'm sorrie, I haven't watched star Trek since I was a kid.
And it was the person I used to live with that would watch it.
He loved it.
Ate dinner on the couch just to see it.
I do however love Patrick Stewart.
In anything and everything he does.
Great pick, imo. ^__^

I never quite got into Star Trek for some reason.
But the original series was pretty groundbreaking. So I do enjoy watching episodes from time to time.
Next Generation seems to require a more significant time commitment to really understand what's going on. Which is good and bad.

I don't think he needs to be immortal. I think all he needs to do is to write the right story. Because some stories do live forever.

Original series. Spock. Infinitely awesome. Leonard Nimoy is amazing. Can never quite get over how unbelievably incredible he is.

Agreed. Leonard Nimoy was still awesomely amazing in the recent 2009 movie. I love that they put him in it, he's the icing on the Star Trek cake.

They never act 80. They have more energy than most people in their twenties. My Nana's like that too... Lol, she's awesome. And a huge Spock fan

Actually, I grew up with Star Trek Next Generation. I was terrified of the Borgs during my childhood and had nightmares of being turned into one of them.
As an adult, they still kinda creep me out. lol
But the original Star Trek is still the best.

Star Trek: The next generation is by far my favorite, too.
And yep, anything and everything that Patrick Stewart does is amazing!

I Love Both TOS & TNG Equally! I love Leonard Nimoy & Patrick Stewart but in my Opinion William Shatner is he Best!!!

I think everyone loves Data.
He was sort of designed to be the likeable guy.

And everyone hates the borg, even though they are they most awesome creatures in Star Trek, Species 8472 comes in second.

TNG is undoubtedly my favorite but I also think that DS9 (especially after season 2) is wonderful. I can't decide on a favorite character. I mean, Picard will always be my captain. But I am in love with Gul Dukat. I don't know why, he's just amazing. I love his character development and eventual slip into insanity. I also love Wesley Crusher. I do. I will not apologize for my love of Wesley!

I liked Tasha Ya but for obvious reasons I have to pick Geordi.
Fave species are the Ocampa.
Favourite ship model is the Intrepid.
