The real issue is understanding the mechanics of the infinite reality. It eventually hit me. I tend to think up cool characters, weapons, or situations and then build up from there. Occasionally, I hit amazing pay dirt. I have over 3,000 notes on my iPhone. A good 150-200 of them are long-form ideas of many bullet points and sentences.

I feel like the Helen account is some sort of bizarre, interesting social experiment.

Agreed.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

I've always been writing TONS of things completely unrelated between each other. Missing a better definition for it, I call myself a "writer of episodes", because my inspiration never goes longer than three pager and refuses to make me write something just "to make things longer". Every time I've tried writing a novel -I've begun something like 20 times- I've stopped after five or six pages. The only things I was able to succesfully complete (even of the -for me- considerable lenght of 100+ pages) were some fan fictions, but they belonged to my first years of university, when I still had some free time I didn't wish to spend on something different than literature. I think I still have to find my strategy and especially the right moment and interior peace to begin
I never asked for power. Power is only given to those who are prepared to lower themselves to pick it up.

I don't really do any writing, as such. Although I enjoy writing big, long rants and sticking them on Facebook. Saying that, I sometimes write quite dark poetry - especially when I'm pissed off/depressed. I don't really know if I'm that good, it's just something I do to get the stress out.
Here's one I did where I felt incredibly angry/hateful a while back:
Hear the whip of my blade, as I lie in the shade.
Feel the itch up your spine, as the clock rings nine.
The feeling is so divine, as if it were by design.
I thrust the blade forward, sending you floorward.
By the flick of my wrist, you cease to resist.
I continue to persist until you cease to exist.

And another one I did (again, when angry):
I go higher and higher, with this twisted desire.
Piercing is the knife, nearing the end of your life.
Flowing down the drain, is the blood from your veins.
Dying on the floor, mercy you implore.
Begging for rescue, only pain will ensue.
Pummelled is your face, under my 10 pound mace.
Buried in the quarry, is your rotting, mangled body.
Forgotten you are, just a useless faux pas.

I haven't done any fiction writing in a while, but I still kinda count myself as a writer since I do write articles for my school newspaper. I do work in the entertainment section, doing movie reviews and the like. I honestly find it kinda cool that I get to do it because I love writing about movies and shows and the like, regardless on if I like them or not.
Wait, is this about writing in general? Just asking because the general theme seems to be on fictional writing. My mistake if this was about fiction writing, I just kinda posted this when I wasn't paying attention and really tired.

I do a lot of fiction writing and am currently trying to get a sci-fi novel published. Keeping my fingers crossed on that one, but publishing is a long and stressful business.

I love to write all kinds of things! Poetry, RP's, cartoon episodes and more! I got pretty good grades in writing/reading classes back in school.
I never put down signatures.

A certain game on Steam right now might inspire me to get back into poetry. I kind of forgot it existed.

Who here writes? I have worked on graphic novels in the past and have written many stories.Who else writes? And about what?
I been writing and drawing for years. I have a pile of poetry, short horror stories and lots of Fan-fiction. I never published anything because all my stories are under 70 pages, and I never thought I could publish JUST poetry. My English teachers use to regularly accuse me of cheating on my English Essays which my mother told me was because my level of writing was too high for my age. I am now writing a comic but struggling to stay interested in it as I no longer want to draw the panels myself. Looking for a second artist. I have 20 pages done and a set of characters created and an idea of how the story will go. It also has a random lesbian couple which is kind of referencing Bubbline from Adventure Time.
