You get what you pay for. You buy a cheap china PSU, the capacitors will blow out within a year. You pay for a decent PSU and it lasts for bare minimum 5.Normally the companies use the cheapest components possible to cut costs. When you take shortcuts you will inevitably face problems...

But fuck that, they're just as bad, if not worse.
I like Macs for the OS, not the hardware. To be 100% honest, the hardware is outdated shit, and it would be cheaper to build my own PC and turn it into a Hackintosh. I won't, though, because I support Apple.
Well, to keep this on-topic, if you want good hardware and a computer that will last a really long time, build it yourself.

My feet just got really cold. I think hell froze over.I would make a comment about Macs being superior hardware and stuff.....

You'd still be supporting Apple. You just wouldn't be supporting their business acumen of "little part gone wrong? FOUR THOUSAND BUCKS TO REPLACE IT, CUNTBAG. PAY ME!"I would make a comment about Macs being superior hardware and stuff.....

Um, that's GROSSLY inaccurate. THE most expensive Mac is $3,725 or so, and it's just the computer, not the monitor.
There is literally no way Apple could/would charge you $4,000 for repairs on anything.
Yes, they're expensive, and hardware is bad, and, honestly, I think Apple would highly profit from allowing their software to be sold on other computers.
My feet just got really cold. I think hell froze over.
Why?

Scienced.Just checked on the store, fully loaded mac pro is $13,349. This doesn't include monitors, accessories, extra software, or support.

Scienced.
It's 3,800, not 13,349.

I assure you I did not.13,000? Um, I think you added 10,000 to that total. Double check.

Something must be wrong because it even says "Minus $3,000" or so dollars.
Perhaps I get a discount for buying so many apple products?

You're not getting it. Or you can't count.

It appears that your price isn't updating, since getting the cheapest processor actually removes more than the total price. Might want to get that looked into.
Again, I'm getting a discount.

To summarize:
I'm getting a discount (yes it's that large, I've spent over $5,000 dollars total on Apple products over the years)
If you wanted that hardware, why buy a Mac?
