I realize this may not be the most popular topic on here but they're awesome. Anyone watch any? Anyone play any?

I played rugby for 11 years, currently I'm pretty sedentary but I try to walk most days and occasionally I lift weights.

I don't play a whole lot of sports. I really love nature walks and going hiking. I occasionally go swimming lanes and if I had the chance to, I'd really like to go curling more (which is boring, I know, but it's actually fun to me).

I like watching figure skating on television when it's on. They tend to choose great music, and it's interesting to watch.

I used to play sports all the time.
Mostly baseball.

I however have never watched sports on T.V., and rarely watched them in person.
Went to a few London Knights hockey games and some local baseball games, that is about it.
I can't force myself to watch sports, it either makes my antsy because I want to go play them, or bored because I have to sit still for a long period of time and not care about whats going on in front of me.

That is just me though.
There are quite a few Americans on here, and they tend to watch the hell out of some major league baseball.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

America fell in love with curling a few years ago, I don’t get the appeal.

I played baseball when I was a kid, was pretty good at it. Played center and tackle in football. (Not soccer, to qualify it. Football Americano)

I like watching college football and Hockey. GA Bulldogs/ Detroit Redwings.

My older brother was big on rugby, but I could never sit through a whole match. Honestly, I’m a little surprised the sport never took off in America. Brutal, seeming ruleless sport with riots after every game? I know, right?

I'm not learned enough to be able to name every player on every team like my dad and brother, but I really enjoy watching baseball, hockey, football(american) and football(soccer lulz). I also enjoy playing all of them, even though I suck(really hard).

I don't enjoy watching or playing sports.
I do train in a martial art though, but that's not really play.
I really do enjoy it, and it feels like an important part of Vietnamese culture.

I don't think he needs to be immortal. I think all he needs to do is to write the right story. Because some stories do live forever.

Rugby is an awesome game, and rough to boot. Hiking counts! As does swimming, so good on you guys. Baseball is a great game I play it pretty casually but I can get a decent batting average going if I focus. Also love curling, not as boring as you might think. One I didn't hear mentioned was hockey which I truly enjoy, fun game to watch, more fun to play.

It was mentioned.

I’m pretty glad that there’ll actually be games this year.

I like to watch AFL, along with darts and snooker. I also play snooker occasionally if there's a table free at the bar.

My mistake...devils are better, and I've never been any good at snooker

Pool with smaller balls and holes that are rounded so it's easier, but the table's bigger. Easier to play when you're drunk, too. Americans play pool. Plus, in the U.S, if you say ‘I’m heading down to the bar to find some snookers,’ people will think you’re paying for oral sex.

Shall we compare Johnny Wilkinson to Steve Davis?

Compare whoever to whoever, snooker is a sport. If you refuse to accept that, that's your prerogative, but the rejection of reality does not instantly mean it is false.
