I haven't really used Windows 8, but I can't help but think I'm too biased towards Android to really care about Windows OS on a mobile at all. Unless they do something nuts, I'll always be loyal to Android.

I prefer android as far as mobile devices go.

Apple junk boils my blood and Linux takes too much effort from what I have gathered.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

tbh the effort required for Linux has gotten a lot better over the years. I wouldn't have my parents use it yet*, but anyone somewhat tech savvy shouldn't have any problems finding their way around one of the mainstream distros.But of course.

That is an understandable system of measurement.
Maybe I will get my hands on Linux and put it on my computer at home, once I get it working again.
