I'm KungPowMeow (kind of an inside joke in my family haha) and yes, I am a nerd. I absolutely love Tolkien's stuff (Lord of the Rings, etc.), Star Wars, Star Trek, super heroes, Harry Potter, etc.
My favorite movie of all time would definitely have to be The Boondock Saints, I just lurve it so much. I'm also a big fan of the new Batman movies, Hetalia, the Elder Scrolls... you get the gist. Guilty pleasures include Repo! The Genetic Opera and listening to Twiztid.
When it comes to music, I really listen to just about anything but particular favorites are Tears for Fears, Aerosmith and Jeremy Soule (such a weird mix haha). I like reading and watching other mangas/animes, but don't have much time for them because of work and school. I intend to become a million times better at drawing some day, and I also enjoy photography and photoshopping a lot. I'll post a link to my dA someday.
I'm in my last semester of high school as a senior and am going to Benedictine College in Kansas for school next year. I'm super excited to move on with that part of my life I currently work at a movie theater but am planning on resigning once I graduate because I was offered a full-time babysitting job for the next few summers which pays better and is much, much easier. Seriously, so much for free tickets! I don't have ebough time to see nearly as many films anymore. And working through the holidays just kinda sucked, even if the time and a half was sort nice.
When I get to college I plan on going into foreign languages and business, probably ending up as a small business owner/translator some day. Who knows, I'm excited to see what the future holds for me. I also really, really like history, American Civil War in particular. I might do something in the history field some day.
Back a long, long time ago I used to be a big part of the Unforgotten Realms community/forum when it was at it's peak. (If you haven't heard of the series, click this to see episode one: https://www.youtube....h?v=DxzZTKhGjLc) It was a fantastic time, and I met a lot of really cool people whom I unfortunately have lost contact with since. The series isn't continued anymore, and I'm not even sure what the creator is up to these days. But anyhow, hopefully I can find an awesome community here, too! It would make me really happy.
So I'll stop talking now haha, I'm sure I've bored some of you to death. But anyways, yes! I look forward to nerding out with everyone and I'm happy I found this place.

Nerds of all sorts are welcome here.
I wouldn't worry about running on with your posts.
I prefer to actually read something instead of have a bunch of quick quippy posts.
Luckily we are a chatty bunch.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

It died after he married a girl he met on the forums who I used to be friends with (but she became kinda mean when they started dating and dropped me...) haha and then... yeah, I dunno. Escapist dropped the series for a while, and they couldn't get enough funding for Season 3 I think. It was sad. But Rob was kind of an asshole, he called me a "stupid little girl" one time over a messenger chat. All that glitters is not gold! Still, the series holds a lot of nostalgia for me.Good, someone who can lament the fate of Smoopy. The show died after Rob decided to make a game, but I don’t care to play it if it comes at the cost of Urealms.
...I think we might just get along.
Thanks for the warm welcomes, everyone! I'm excited
