I've just finished re-reading the last book in the Twilight saga. This is my 5th or 6th time I think. Now I'm starting to re-read my Harry Potter book collection. I'm still hunting for a new book to read.

Check out the Dresden Files series.
It fits your general interest I think and there are like fifteen books in the series, so lots of reading.

I'd vote for (and I think Sushi will back me up on this) the Night Angel trilogy. It's full of twists, turns, assassinations and witty retorts.
Also, A Tale of the Kin, by Douglas Hulick. Similar to the Night Angel trilogy but a little less supernatural, and a little more sarcastic wit. He released the second book some months ago, and I'm really hyped for the next one.

Go read The Dresden Files if you haven't already.
You pretty much summed the entire series up on one sentence.
Just add magic, sarcasm, and a perverted spirit of intellect who's bound to a human skull.

Harry Dresden is the DEFINITION of scruffy underdog outcast who somehow wins against evil. And Bob.

I'm glad you're familiar with his ways.
Sooooo good.

Started listening to Frankenstein this week and I'm already on Chapter 9. It took forever for anything to happen in this book, but the action has picked up and I'm quite intrigued. Victor is such a slappable character; I'm always torn on how to feel when the protagonist is a dumbass.

Since the bots are apparently contributing more than I am these days I feel obligated to do the same.
I bought a bunch of books a few weeks ago because I had Chapters gift cards stockpiled from a few Christmases and birthdays, and I've still got more to spend.
One book trilogy that I got is the Wolfhound Century series, and I'm pretty damn happy with it.
I found all three books rolled into one and just finished the first.
It's cold war feeling Russia in a nutshell, secret police, totalitarian government style, oppressed citizens, the works.
Except in this world an "angel" fell from the stars and landed right in the middle of a major city, which the government immediately claimed and used its super powered dead flesh as building materials for weapons and structures. And there's an ancient giant magic forest with spriggan ambassadors and a living fallen angel stuck in the middle corrupting the land with its influence of death. Also sentient water/rain, giants, magical stone golems used by the government as muscle. Plus it's very well written and makes you give a shit about the characters. Overall I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy/magic and Russian/Slavik somewhat alternate history.

When reading it, I was very discouraged to learn that the stylish xxx tentacion merch novel had died.
