I am currently re-reading the Enderverse, to catch up with two new books I have not read yet.

So far, this time, I have read:

  • Ender's Game
  • Speaker for the Dead
  • Xenocide
  • Children of the Mind
  • Ender's Shadow
  • Shadow of the Hegemon
I'm currently reading Shadow of the Giant, after which I will read the newest two novels in the series, Ender in Exile and Shadows in Flight, in that order (I prefer to read them by order of publication, not chronologically).

These ones. I've always wanted to read these ones but I never get around to it.

I've also started reading the Boku wa Tomodachi light novel translations. I can only say I'm thankful they didn't start the anime with the first scene in the book. I would not be watching it now, for sure.

Actually, they did. Look up Boku Wa episode 0. It’s the scene with everyone eating black hotpot. I accidentally skipped it when I started the anime, and, like you, probably wouldn’t have watched the next episode if I’d began there.

And they skip more extreme stuff in the anime, like the first play they acted out. I swear, Yozura is obsessed with rape.

I'll have to look up that episode sometime.

That chapter was pretty bad, aha Some of the stuff I'm glad they left out, though I am finding I like the book more than the anime at some points. There's a few times I've found it's the description that set the mood more than the scene itself. There was one chapter in particular where the book made me see it differently, I can't remember which one it was, though.

I agree. Like the new ep last week. In the book you get that Kodaka noticed Yukimura worrying about her clothes, but it's just skipped in the anime.

I just finished My Booky Wook by Russell Brand.

Now I'm reading my Booky Wook 2.

It's weird how similar I am to Mr Brand in both personality and weirdness. But he has a better range of vocabulary then I do

It's by Kevin Smith, not a bad read, if you're into his work that is. I happen to enjoy it.

I bought and read Jim Butcher’s Cold Days last Tuesday. I hit up B & N today for Joe Abercrombie’s Red Country. Who's back in this one? Well...

Currently reading Sabriel by Garth Nix. I keep trying to read this one, but I get the bigass book containing the whole series at the library and I think the number of pages intimidates me. I'm trying just the first book this time. I think I'd love this book if I could just get into it.

A kindly old grandmother brought me the Lady in the Attic yesterday, so i feel obliged to read it. She also gave me a huge thing of M&Ms. I ate them and now my throat hurts.
