Originally I wanted to play with some AMD chips, but since G34 is still in use, the motherboards are pretty expensive on ebay.

It looks like 1366 boards can be had for rather cheap though, $100-$160 round about for a 2p one. Then I can get some hex core chips with HT for a bit over $100. http://www.ebay.com/...=item3ccdfa60bb

What are you guys opinions?
I want to learn to do fun useful things with them, and maybe use it as a WS computer, but until then it'd be running F@H.
