I don't really think of it as cosplay because I probably wouldn't wear it to a con or anything... I just got the R2 swim suit to go swimming in lolz not to flaunt everywhere

I wouldn't call it cosplay, it's more just nerdy print on a dress.

Disagree’d. When I wear my X-men shirt, I’m not cosplaying because no one would confuse me for Wolverine. But if you walk into Dragon Con wearing that R2... thing, and a half-blind otaku spots you and he’s dressed as C3-P0, there’s a chance he’s going to want to pose for a photo. That’s not to say I wouldn’t want a girl to wear that out on a date, it’d be smexy as all hell.
And a half-assed R2-D2 costume would be cake to make. You’ve seen trashcans and spray-paint before, right? Grab a drill and get to painting. Done.
