Seriously. Hephaestus is at home working through 99% of EVERYTHING that ever happens.

And Hercules is an interesting character. In Jason and the Argonauts, I was always fascinated that he was lost as a party member because he went off to search for his servant/boyfriend. In the version that I read in school, anyway. The Wiki doesn't mention that version.

The "real" story of Hercules, the man, the myth, the legend is filled with twists and turns. The Disney version kind of shat all over it and jumbled the timeline and masterminds of events all over the place.

I'm just glad The Rock is finally playing him. I wrote a story with a character code-named Hercules who I envisioned The Rock would play (the character dies very early in the course of the story.) And then it gets announced he's playing Hercules, at least a graphic novel interpretation of him. The trailer displays at least three of his Twelve Labors, which means this version starts after Hera caused him to kill his family (because she was one crazy ass bitch, to quoth Chris Tucker.)

I'm guessing they'll skip over the Labor involving horse manure.

Given Hollywood, that's a safe bet.

Given Hollywood, that's a safe bet.

Although the mastermind of the Rush Hour trilogy is directing this, so there will be at least one comic relief wise-crackin' black guy. There just has to be. Rush Hour 2 is my jam, easily my second favorite buddy cop movie after Lethal Weapon 2 (because that just has to be #1.)

No, Chris Tucker as Achilles, Chris Rock as Chiron (black guy/horse dick jokes would be too easy.)

I love vampires. No, not 'Twilight' vampires. There's so much history behind them--especially in Eastern europe. People were genuinley terrified of them and some still are there. Even the old Dracula movies were badass.

I've seen plenty of real fairies; they tend to mince around outside gay bars in Soho.

She did say she was from California. I'm pretty sure that's, like, the modern day seelie court.

I dunno why but I've always really liked Dullahans, something about them I just find really freaky and cool at the same time.

Kelpies - after reading this comic (http://imgur.com/gallery/j32bm) they now freak the hell out of me, which I guess makes them pretty interesting/horrifying!

(Though mainly horrifying)
