I just bought some games on Steam, after a long time again.
When I tried to download them, however, (about 8 at the same time), only 3 of them actually downloaded.
When looking at the progress in my library, it says 'Update Suspended' where it should say the progress.
When looking at the downloads list, the suspended games have ''Suspended'' where they should have 'Downloading'.
Some games started downloading at first, but then randomly quit and went 'suspended' as well.
Do any of you fellow Nerdforummers know what I can do against this or what causes this issue?
I haven't downloaded games off Steam in a while, but I never had this before.

The downloads are just paused, you can start them from the Library > Downloads page.
It should be a little square shaped pause or X button, clicking it should resume the download

Yay, it seems to work now, thanks!

You can do it another way, go to your games Library, right click the game in the lefthand panel, and click Resume Updating
it might say Pause Updating instead of Resume Updating, if that's the case pause it and resume it again.

Well, I have two downloads running at the moment. Whenever I get one to work, the other goes suspended...

well first, you should avoid quitting steam whenever possible, because it often causes the problem you are having now. you can try to pause it then unpause. that sometimes works for me, but not always. usually though, it resumes the download for me if I just wait a few minutes.
