Happy zombie jesus day, and and all.
One side of my family is Ukrainian, so I have the heritage thing there.
I also have a few friends with similar genetics so we do the Ukrainian Christmas thing too.

Half Ukrainian half Czechoslovakian actually.
So I can drink vodka like it is water with no ramifications.
My grandma on the Czech side used to make potato skin vodka in her backyard.
That shit would peel your face off, and it was great.
As for salo, not a massive fan if it is to be straight up eaten.
I prefer mine mixed in to a pork sausage of some sort, or in borscht.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.
