That's not bad. We need load temps though. Try to run a game for a while and see what it goes to.

power supplies will often die. especially when you modify the load. (add new hardware)

Based on your symptom of it dropping the load it could be a couple of things:

- Motherboard
- Video Card Driver
- Power Supply

If your PS is 4 years old, and you purchased the cheapest one you could find at the time it is likely that it has reached its end of life. Download the most recent drivers for your video card from the manufacturers website and install them. If that doesn't fix the issue, purchase a new power supply.
