Awesome.
I once froze my skin a little bit with canned air, so I can imagine the world of suck that roach must have experienced.
I bet if you froze a roach like that then let it thaw it would shrug that shit off and keep on keepin on.

I doubt it. I did freeze one in a standard freezer though, and he was able to survive after thawing.

Those bastards are pretty resiliant eh?
I have actually never even seen a cocroach, not really a common thing up here in the great white north.

Hahaha I usually tend to burn them alive by putting them in an envelope where you can see through (usually your name) fold it up, then watch them panic as the flame engulfs them.... Sick pleasures watching a roach suffer.... >:)

Because roaches are a rarity in the UK, I never really saw the problem with them. I like beetles, which is what I've always presumed they are, so having a few big ones scuttling around wouldn't phase me that much. I mean I'd want to get rid of 'em but I'd probably just shoe them outside like I do with the woodlice. Also a pidgeon. Bloody idiot fell down the chimney and broke its wing.

And you just kicked his ass to the curb?
Without so much as a little medical attention?

My dad didn't want it in the house and we didn't really have anywhere for it. We placed it under a tree and left it there, after a few hours I checked on it and it was gone. I'm a believer in natural selection so it didn't phase me to learn that it either got up and walked off, or even flew off once it got the soot out of its lungs...or it was eaten, sustaining another animal.

It isn't quite natural selection when human influence is involved.
We pretty effectively skew any sort of evolution when it comes to small animals like birds.

By no means am I serious by the by.
I'm no bleeding heart animal rights activist or anything.
In that situation I probably would have helped the animal out.
Firstly because that is how I roll, and expect to be treated if I get all smashed up, and secondly because if something that I influence or that is manmade screws with an animal and the animal gets hurt I feel like I need to help it out. If some human didn't build that chimney then they bird never would have been hurt in that prticular way. So I see it as evening the odds by helping.

That being said, your dad would be the authority in your house and pidgeons are stupid.
So his choice is valid.

Yeah, if it was my own house I would definitely have helped the bird if at all possible, the overarcing reason I didn't is because my dad kind of had the final say.

ITT: If I get hurt, I'm limping to Affray's house.

And keep Robstar away from me.

The irony is astounding. What if the roach you froze was a father? Think of the roach-children who are now without a dad! Who will support them? Roach society is very right wing and has no form of welfare support. When the repo roaches come to take their possessions away and kick them onto the street, what will they do then? How can you even live with yourself?!

You come up with awesome shit. The solution, obviously is to freeze the entire family.

After freezing him, I shot him with an airsoft gun and parts fell off. Pretty sure he's dead. >.>
