So, today out estimator bought software from a company that has a yahoo email as their company email, and possibly the worst website still in existence. The "program" is just a bunch of pdf files encrypted with a program called "FileOpen". It doesn't work. Upon calling tech support, they rather sobbingly told me that they had never even heard of Adobe Reader XI and that it only worked with 10.4.1. I downgraded his computer to the appropriate version, and still no luck. Don't really want to call back tech support that doesn't know when something has been updated for their product, so any suggestions?
Not sure I get this bit:

Our* I'm sorry. The person in our company who handles the bids.
I did not know that and "estimator" did that anyway. Nevermind.
But to your original post. That's probably the silliest thing I've ever seen someone do in a looooong time.

Seems Legit, don't see what the problem is.
But seriously, how do people find AND BUY this wonky third-world software?

I, too, find this strange. Did he google something so specific that only a shady third-world site popped up?
