Not really Sci-fi, more historical, but anyone else here play Axis and Allies? Friggin love this game. I've had games run 2 weeks, no lie. Very intense if your into strategy. With this game you can get 'non-nerds' to play too. Heck, even my wife loves this game.

It's a WWII-style risk, just more in depth. It's by far the best board game I've ever played.

Never played it myself, but I think some of my friends did.

I don't think he needs to be immortal. I think all he needs to do is to write the right story. Because some stories do live forever.
