One thing I was really confused about in death note was that in the begining they say people who use the death note will go to nothingness when they die.But at the end of the series it says they go to hell.Was I the Only one who noticed this.

I remember the limbo vaguely, but not the hell portion.

It may have been a miss-communication with translation, or something they had forgotten and changed by accident.

Its just such a shocking contrast from the calm collected Light we've seen this whole time

And then when hes running, and he passes "himself" [him, if he had never touched the notebook], makes me all sad

Yeah, he thought he was going to get away with it all.. he thought so strongly he was this prophet that couldn't be touched.

It was a really interesting anime.

I love how even someone with the best intentions can be changed in such a huge way with the wrong kind of power.

Hence, why towards the end, he got reckless, I think it was too much for him, or any man, really. The only person who seemed to use it at ease was Yotsuba corp guy, but he was backed by that group, which game him a safety net, but made it easier for him to get caught.

He knew it would have to be just him if he wanted to not get caught, but he knew he couldn't do it by himself

I think he should have just sat Misa down, and been like "Bitch I love you, I want to train you to be Kira" and worked off of that

not only did she have the eyes, she was the only one, besides dude who would call him "God", who absolutely was with him.

She was so hopelessly in love with him, and he didn't give two shits about her. :\

It was so sad to see both of her demons give their lives for her too.
