Reviews would be a given. Music I'm not so sure about. Tech of course, maybe nerdy clothes. Nerdy toys would be popular I'm sure, and maybe a short bit on history about some things that were discovered/invented in the month.

Well you can booze up at home from...six I think? You can't drink in a public place until 16 with your rents and you can't buy alcohol until 18. With that in mind, I've been drinking pretty much on a regular basis since I was about 13. So long as you keep it mum then you're probably okay to drink whenever.
