I have an airsoft pistol, and at different points, assault rifles and shotguns that I use for bug defense.

Only I use an airsoft pistol to shoot bugs from across the room out of lazyness and to test my marksmanship, not because I hate insects.
I also only kill the ones that annoy me, not the useful ones like spiders.
