the theme was: disasters
the handicap was: the game must not contain text
the gmc jam is a 72 hour game jam, but I only had 48 hours because of school
I made a scrolling shooter with great music, good gameplay, a boss battle and totally not retina burning graphics XD
a video I took part way through development...

And to make sure this doesn't fall back into obscurity I shall post.
Since I am such a popular guy people should flock around and play your dealie.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

What language was a programmed in?
It was programmed in gml, which is a higher level cross platform language with java like syntax.
I think ill be porting it into HTML5 today, so expect that by tommorow.
