Looked it up: Apparently you're just at risk for whatever diseases/parasites the person you ate had. And, if you eat the brain theres a rare chance you can contract a disease called "kuru", found in New Guinea, which is also called "The Laughing Sickness"

The more ya know :o

That laughing sickness is somewhat like mad cow disease isn`t it.

So in reality it is no more dangerous than eating a deer you shot in the woods from a disease standpoint.

Yeah, like I said it's a rare chance, and only if you eat the brains, apparently.

It would still taste awful.

I know from experience that human meat is the meat of the gods. Has anyone ever been to a German cannibal restaurant? ;)

I have been to a German person's house.
So, almost.

Pretty much the exact same thing. It's caused by the proteins in the spinal column and brain. There are some pretty nasty things you can get from eating other humans.

I will have to only eat vegans, and only after some bloodwork is done.

I suppose you'd be able to eat certain parts though? Humans have practice cannibalism for thousands of years, in countries such as Nigeria, warlords still eat the body parts of their slain foes to gain their 'powers'.

You are, as far as the protein transited stuff goes. The chance to catch the diseases they have varies quite a bit depending on what it is though.

Mr Burns: When I was in Africa I had my skull cracked open by cannibals.
Smithers: That was your partner, you betrayed him to the cannibals.
Mr Burns: Oh that's right, I have his memories because I ate his brain.

Another good quote:
I want to die quietly on my own term crushing as many of those baby sea turtles as I possibly can.
