That's surprising. I wasn't aware 1911's were underwater capable, I was guessing a glock.

do you realize how many different variation there are of the 1911?

there's a reason it's one of the most customized guns in the us.

Yeah, after doing some research, the more customized 1911's apparently not only shoot underwater, but cycle with > 90% success.

After talking to my dad about this, apparently the 1911A1's he used in the navy fired underwater with all stock parts, and only need a heavier firing pin spring to properly cycle.
TIL I really underestimated a very old gun.

That is really cool.
Plus it would be cheaper and faster to buy the rounds and fire them in a pool than it would be to buy the materials to craft tiny little flowers and invest the time crafting them.

It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.
