Bad acting aside, its a pretty awesome show and a really neat concept

The acting was pretty bad. >.>
I thought it was a neat show though, and it sucks that it was canceled.

i was told to watch it and that it was good. thats all i actually know about it >.>

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

I was told it was spectacular, and then I watched it.

I'm sorry, but you're millions of years in the past. I don't give a single fuck about some teenager's romance subplot. If I watch a scifi show about surviving in the past, I want at least 80% of the time spent on that topic.

Didn't make it past the third episode.

The only reason I was really pissed it went away was because of the hook. I have a seriously hard time not knowing what happens. It's different with shows that aren't cancelled because I'll eventually know what happens later, but it drives me nuts all the same. I literally installed Portal 2 custom texture packs for Portal 1 because I was frustrated why no explanation was provided for the difference in look. I know, it was a technical issue, but game-wise, that was the only thing that really appeased me.
Anyways, back on topic. I was sad that the show got cancelled, but I came up with possibly logical reasons for what happened, so I'm not losing much sleep over it anymore.

After watching all the shows... and the final hook... ITS CANCELLED!

Although it did not spend enough time on dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures, and the science was minimal, I really enjoyed it! It was very suspenseful and had well thought out plot lines that made the series one of the best sci-fi series's I have seen.

Terra Nova certainly had its share of issues... that said, I watched most of the episodes. I'd still take Terra Nova with its lack of dinosaurs and science, bad acting, and dumb plots over many other things that are currently on television. Hah.

That's because even with the faults it is better than most of the crap on television.

I agree, everything on tv is crap, except an occasional sci-fi or fantasy show. The only good channel is BBC and it has bad shows still.

Agreed. And then when anything good ever comes on, it get cancelled (I'm looking at you, fox, 14 goddamned episodes of firefly was not enough!!!!!)

It also pisses me off that even nonfiction shows get cancelled from discovery (or get very little airtime). Stephen Hawking into the universe, cosmic front, even curiosity episodes are sparse. All in favor of pawn stars, dirty jobs and how its made. There are even less episodes of mythbusters being aired, which is sad.

I'm fearful, I'm fearful, I'm fearful of flying, and flying is fearful of me.

I found Dirty Jobs to be very educational, especially since most people don't realize that all of those jobs need to be done. It was however replaced with Amish Mafia....
