they are quite a bit different, culturally speaking. mostly has to do with upbringing, as Appalachian people are vastly different than cajun folks.


though, you have me on the road kill part. in louisana, if you hit it, you're legally able to haul it away.

but honestly, no one picks up day old possums or anything. people will, however, take nutria tails off any aged road kill cause there's a bounty on them as a nuisance critter. and the occasional wild hog you hit going down the highway.
