HOLY FUCKIN SHIT THEY MADE AN ANIMATED SERIES! I never knew this! I have read most if not all of the books.
Very cool book series. About to find out if they made a very cool animated series >.>

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-- Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-- and there was no one left to speak for me.

I remember watching the cartoon when I was like eleven at my grandmas place.
I was super pumped because I had read every one of the books that existed at the time.
They were my bread and butter when I was a wee child.
They also affirmed my suspicion that badgers were the most badass animals alive.

A fact that the internet is just now catching onto.

I was a fan of the otters as well.

Yeah I liked the otters too.
Brian Jacques seems to have a very strong understanding of the order of animal awesomeness.
The smarter/more useful the actul animal the better they were in the books.
Foxes were also decent.

Yeah, I didn't realize any of that when I was in like 3rd grade reading the books, but thinking back on it, it's neat how he did so.

The hares are where it's at... The animated series was ok but definitely not that good... I still enjoyed reading the series though.

I agree.
The books were far superior.

The hares were very awesome.
Especially Basil Stag Hare.
He was one classy British hero.

The otters were my second favorite. They were OP with their slings.

So basically we all agree that everyone but the mice and rats were badass murderers or epic heroes.

Pretty much... The mice (besides Martin and Mathias) were really stupid, and the rats were just idiots.

The mice were basically there to get themselves into huge piles of shit with every baddie there was.
And the rats were the same, but the other way around on the morality scale.

Is that from somewhere.
I know that Asmodeus is the king of demons, perhaps your name there is a variant of it?
