I saw someone do the math superman vs. DBZ characters somewhere; it amounted to Krillin being able to kill superman with one destructo disc. So from a two worlds colliding as realistic as it gets kind of POV, the saiyan would win with ease. I'll try to find a link later when I get home.

Math is all fine and good.
But they seem to neglect that Goku always rises to the occasion and wins the fight.
He faces enemies that are stronger than him technically many times, but pulls the win out of his ass every time.
He fights his best and hardest when he is outclassed by his opponent.

When Goku dies, he comes back from the dead after his friends go on a fetch quest. When Superman dies, fifteen copies of him show up, some of them robots, and then he comes back. He's like the frikkin hydra.

I honestly think the guys from Star Wars would be outclassed. Unless Han Solo and Boba Fett team up with lightsabers wrapped in chainsaws, then only Chuck Norris and Abraham Lincoln would be able to stop their force of cool.

alright then new question, superman and goku (as a team) versus the ENTIRE star wars universe, all characters and citizens and everyone. Who wins?

Wizard magazine did something of the sort years ago, pairing up anime characters against superheroes.


There were others, but I can't remember them.

Is anyone else annoyed that they kept calling Superman "Supes".
The Joker calls Batman "Bats" out of mockery, or because he is trying to point out that Batman is as crazy as he.
Batman is always super pissed by it though, so calling Superman "Supes" is kind of an insult toward him if you think about it.

Superman is too kind and gentle to get mad at someone calling him supes, heck even Jimmy Olsen calls him it sometimes. Also wizard=>.>

I think the main issue with any X vs Dragonball Universe debates is that, honestly, the dragonball universe is absurd. The power the characters wield there is nothing less of godhood. Comparing them to anything that exists in a normal dramatic setting where characters have humanlike flaws is just unfair to the comparison universe. Even DC and Marvel aren't quite as absurd as most of their characters. There are some exceptions, though(I'm looking at you, Hulk and Wolverine).

Thank god some writers attempt to scale him back, but he's been written as literally unkillable

I've already seen enough universes colliding in Fringe, why do you have to make more collide here? >.<
Oh, and I'd go with Star Wars.

Perhaps they both share the same universe, just at different times, or in different timelines?

Oh, and now we're talking about TIMELINES? Do tell me how the Observers absolutely LOVE to intervene in the course of events before 2015 (and Star Wars took place long long ago, in a galaxy far, far away).
