Also, it should be noted that you really have to be patient for both the video, and the game I imagine.
The whole point is that you're going down the staircase for so long without any incident, it lulls you into a false sense of security.

If you read the stories, people are down there for hours on end..
Personally, it's shit like that that I find creepiness, but you have been warned.

I got curious, I started to watch the video

I agree with you and the commentor, the eerie crying would have so made that better

The groaning and the evil witch laugh, after anticipating it for 19 floors, fell flat on it's face

And the darkness, they could put vague figures in the darkness, maybe just one shade away from pitch black, and that would up the creepiness

They could have, around levels 20-30, start repeating floor numbers here and there, just to make you question yourself

Maybe the sounds of footsteps separate from your own, coming from above or below you [or both], so you have something to chase/avoid, passively

These people are making it look hard to do horror

Yeah, the whole premise of the story is that there's a little girl crying and begging for help and no matter how far down you go, her voice never gets closer..
Until all of a sudden it does, and then you hear and feel breath across your neck, footsteps all around you, banging, etc.

Then at one point you hear a static noise and see a lit up face far in front..
As you turn to run up you hear something after you, problem is you've already gone down between 20 and 140+ flights..
When it catches up to you the light completely gets enveloped and the static gets much louder until the video cuts out.

THAT's what I liked about it.

The changing of floors would be awesome too.

What you described beat the shit out of the video

I have to give it to them, the end was creepy

but there was 17 minutes of unused potential kickin around there, I hope this game is considered in it's alpha or beta stage

Mhmm, it's all from the stories.

They're crazy good imo.

The first one I posted, the guy talks about how he had no plans of making it a full length game, until the requests were so numbered.

He updated about 2 weeks ago that he is indeed still working on it, with no projected completion date.
