K, so everything I had in my house is gone..

I have no idea what happened...

Is there a way to restore the folder or something?

that's very weird. is it everything, such as items in storage and furniture, or just the items? also, were these items in storage or just about?

i've seen people suggest reloading or exiting and returning should help. other than that, do you have any other save files to load back to?

And I was trying to fix some texture issues so the only saves for that toon are after whatever happened, happened.

I'm trying to restore previous versions on my data folder and my saves folder and the option to restore on both are grayed out..

hrm, looking into the mod now.

that's weird. i'm not entirely sure how you're backing them up, but is it possible for you to look at your back up versions of the folders and maybe copy the save files and paste them in your mygames/skyrim/saves ?

Have you tried going to the data folder and finding the esm for the house, then under properties do the windows previous versions?

I went as far back as I could on a save as well.

i honestly have no idea why it wouldn't let you restore as admin.

Nope.

I copied my save folder to my desktop and put in the most recent from the archive.

I'm 6 levels lower, but my shit is all there so I'm happy.

As for the rest of it, I have no idea either.

also, if i may make a suggestion. i'd think this situation calls for creating and maintaining a few numbered save files, in addition to your main numbered one and your auto/quick save files.

but what i mean is instead of just relying upon your autosaves and liberal use of quicksaves, every couple hours or so (you pick a time frame, really) save a numbered save file by going to the menu and saving to a new file. i, for example, have 5 save files, in addition to all my auto saves and quicksaves.
