realistic water mod is making me feel like i'm beating my head against bricks and i don't know why. only mod that's given me hassle so far. been at it for hours with no luck.

i was getting slow moving water everywhere. all of the troubleshooting shit on his page were for nothing, cause all those "fixes" were already in place when i installed the thing. i think i may have gotten it, but i need to check more areas and more water types.

also, it's a different one than the one you use. might say fuck it and try it instead.

do you happen to have a ss of something like the bar area of the ragged flaggon's pool?

eh, fuck it. i'll try yours instead.

well, that did the trick. i'm no longer looking at mirrors when i'm near the water.

 Glad that worked.

I actually moved to the high res water textures, the ultra pack to see if it looked better. It's pretty nice.

i was trying to get http://skyrim.nexusm...file.php?id=711 to work. looks damn nice, but some surfaces kept bugging on me. would turn almost into a mirror. looked unnatural as hell and bugged me.

I do not recall the name of the quests, but in Markath I finally finished the quest with the giant spider.
It killed both my familiar and Lydia, but I got it. <.<

I then proceeded to clear out the dungeon behind with a bit of difficulty since I'm only level 10 (It seems to me it was designed for a higher level).
Took about 2 hours due to my lack of attention span, conversations I was having, and the difficulty of the dungeon.
I frequently saved throughout the whole thing.

I go through the door to the excavation site after killing the mobs and turning back the power to the proper people. (awesome loot too btw)
And Steam crashes as I enter the door.

I go to restart it and it tells me my files do not meet up with the cloud files.
I figured since I've been doing heavy modding I'd messed up a file along the way so I click download.
I log back in and all that progress and about an hour before it was wiped out.

Needless to say I'm taking a break for a while.

i'm sorry :(

but yeah, skyrim uses the cloud to store save files. i dunno what made them decide to not really make a larger announcement about it. thankfully, i learned only losing an hour at most. but anytime skyrim closes out, let steam finish synchronizing. if not, just choose to ignore the message and it'll use the save files on your pc and will try and synchronize again next time you close it.

How does one become a leader?

Also, accidentally became a vampire today, lawls.

indeed.

once you complete all of their quests, you're made leader of a guild/faction. in the case of the thieves guild (no spoilers), this means doing their main quests, plus doing side missions for the four main holds (Windhelm, Markath, Solitude, and Whiterun) to help establish the guild in those cities.

XD awesome. didn't you wanna be one?

Can't do that when they're all trying to kill me. <_<

Aye, I haven't tried. <.<

I've been stocking up on items tho so I'm deciding whether to ingest them, or figure out how to use them.

And I'll have you know I promptly forgot everything. >.>

I am however still using Lydia as a blood bag. =D

believe me, it does >.>

i do suggest at least trying to eat one of each alchemy ingredient. you can only learn the first effect this way unless you take enough perks in the tree to do otherwise. other than that, alchemy is just trying to combine known effects to get a potion/poison you want. if you have plenty of ingredients, though, you can try mixing and matching to unlock more effects.

XD i'm sorry. i'll go over again next time we get a chance :)
good :D free meal
