Well.. I just reinstalled everything and her hair is all fucked up.

okay, after digging around, all the attribute and skill losses were attributed to user error and improper labeling of forum posts >.>

as spleen said, use "showracemenu", but be careful when you do. don't change the race and be sure the only slider you change is hair.
i just tried this on a level 5 high elf i have sitting in riverwood. all her points were there and so were the correct attributes. however, most of the racial things were temporarily absent (since i did just technically change her). what you do here is save it (new file preferably), then exit to the main menu. reload your new save and your racial abilities should return (as an example, the 50 extra magicka high elves get wasn't shown for my character until i reloaded). i know have a high elf with that ponytail haircut like lydia has.

also, you'll need to unequip and reequip your armor for them to become active effects again.

I got it to work somehow but Lydia's is fucked up now and I have no idea how to change it.

Also, I did the showrace and it started me off as an imperial with the same visual aspects and when I would change to elf it would give me this default one with a mohawk and everytme I fixed it ti reverted after I saved.

for lydia, you'll likely need to reset her like the mod author recommended. take any items from her, even armor/weapons, then open the console. click on her and type in "resurrect"

and i think i have a way to fix your character. i just tested this on my elf by changing her to a dark elf then back to a high elf.

It was actually 3 different viewpoints..

I do seem to be missing 100 carry weight from when I logged in.. but honestly, I don't give a shit at this point.

i'll be honest, i feel like a gigantic ass asking these questions since i was the one that got confused. that said, maybe they'll help me locate the problem.

when you tried the resurrect thing, what exactly happened?

it seems she reverted back to an old armor set. when you loaded back to the game, did she still have her other armor set in her inventory?

you grabbed http://skyrim.nexusm...ile.php?id=6173 for her, right?

check your data folder of you skyrim folder in your steam folder. are there more than one HousecarlWhiterun.esp in it? if not, is the one you have roughly 1.71KB in size? trying to make sure you have the correct one for the ponytail, since that's the one you had before.

how far up your load order is housecarlwhiterun.esp? for instance, mine is above skyui. and it's above my hair/armor mods, too. just as a point of reference.

have you tried disabling the mod and trying to load up to see what happens to her? in my overprotective state of mind, i'd think taking your stuff from her would be a good idea. maybe even create a new save file so when you exit and turn it back on, you'll have on where she reverted to default and one with your old data.

I think I worded it funny.

When I tried it it gives me a string of text, one of them being 'Lydia is not bleeding out'.
I accidentally did it to myself since I was in third person and it lowered my health like a swing would, so I dunno.
I didn't make a save after trying tho.
Still worried about the saves to be honest..

And I even tried the old one I had downloaded before, tried manual install.. everything.
I do have my old mods folder, but I'm pretty sure something in it was causing the texture displacements.
The only one I have come across since is a modded house being disrupted due to an update of one right next to it that elongated the property.

Yep, 1.71.
When I use NMM it adds the long folder in itself, not in the right position so I figure that it's recognizing the choice from the save I had.
Something is overwriting it tho, I'm trying to pinpoint which mod changed to do so.

It loads at the bottom.
I can only move it up to number 4 with 1 being the unchecked update.
When I install the apache hair (the mod I used with my failed redguard's hair) it cannot move above that.

No I have not.
And she's reverting to her default armor because I took the armor I made for her off since I was uninstalling and re-installing her.

Also, when I hit resurrect she gets naked and spawns a new weapon.
Sometimes a shield, sometimes a sword, sometimes an axe..
