I'm tired of having windows 7 on my HTPC, I want something a bit more interesting. Currently I'm trying out XBMC over an Ubuntu install. Any other suggestions?

Everything > Vista > Windows 8 . . . lol
Personally, Win7 is my favorite right now . . . Too many limitations on others. Try installing a Hackintosh - good project!

I like windows 7 a lot, but as a pure media center, I imagine something could be more efficient.
