Dudes, it's been a hot minute since I've been here and what do I find? Robots everywhere! It legit hurt my heart a little. This place was moderately active back in the day but it's completely dead now. I see a few of you with active dates this year but most were like 2017 or 18. Kitty and wolf and those guys are long gone. Even spleen doesn't seem like he posts on his own forum!

Yeah, life got in the way and interests changed. I left a few people as mods and basically plan on paying the hosting ad infinitum. Without updates to the site though, it's easy for spam bots to register. Every so often I log in and clear them out.
Also, your post count is 1776. Fantastic.

I'm still around, too. Like Spleen, interests changed. Work and family keep me fairly busy. I happened to log in on a whim and was just overwhelmed by a single spambot that had over ten thousand posts.
In general, it's a lot easier to contact me on Discord, though.

I still check in from time to time when life permits, even if it's just to look at the wall of bots and wonder when in the flying fuck pop-up ads became a part of the landscape.
This place and you people have a cozy little spot in the back of my brain that I don't plan on getting rid of.
So long as I can come here I will.
It's actually kind of a nice surprise to show up and see a completely cleaned up main page with a new topic created by an actual human member.
I was here a few days ago and it sunk me a little bit to see things in that state, but it feels very good to know that more of us are still attached.
As weird as that sounds.
It is perfectly acceptable to fear and admire a being you could not possibly understand.

there aren't any ads on my end, that might be a quirk from your own ad blocker plugin, some of them allow ads from specific networks like twitch/amazon and such.
