To be honest, not really. I think it depends on the topics you follow. I know Flippy, Adam and Sethre post frequently in the World of Warcraft topic, as do I. Plus there can be a little bit of activity in other areas, even just slightly. It's not unbearable though. In fact, I've always preferred a more quality over quantity approach to forums. I've seen a lot of big forums literally focus on the numbers than any sense of community or content. They start paying people to pay for activity for the forum, and it feels really artificial and unwelcoming.
I've been back here for about nearly three months now, and I've actually found this place to be a lot more welcoming than any of those forums. In fact, I left those forums because of how boring the topics where. Nobody communicated, it was things like "What did you put on your toast this morning".
P.S, if you don't put Jam on your toast, you're a filthy peasant.

I was banned from W.O.W., so I can't play anymore. I need some way of talking to people because I don't have any friends. I am in college, but only for a few hours a day. I hope you understand that I need more topics than W.O.W.To be honest, not really. I think it depends on the topics you follow. I did try to make new threads but to be honest they were meh ideas. They suck. Your threads at least get replies and you do try to keep the place lively, so thank you for that.
Maybe make this months theme to challenge all members to make a creative thread of some kind? Or polls. Spark up some activity.

I can think of a handful, but lets not name and shame in public. I will say this though - I recall seeing an affiliate bar on Nerd Forum once upon a time, and the biggest offender was on there. I left the site after seeing how horrifically boring it was. Plus the members were just..... assholes? One of them literally goaded me into leaving, honestly, as well as any other members that didn't fit his circlejerk agenda.

Oh god, we can get paid to shitpost. This IS the dream. You usually do see these promotions on forums. They go on to other sites and pay others to pretend to be active for like 50 posts.
