The newest album by "Weird Al" Yankovic, Mandatory Fun, is some new hotness.  It became the first comedy album to top the Billboard charts since like the early '60s.  And it's pretty awesome.

It's currently only about $6.99 on Amazon Digital.  I've been listening to it while I've been playing the new Super Smash Bros. today.  So much awesome.

My parents saw him in concert not too long ago.

I saw him in Lancaster.  He even made a joke about the location.  Something like "Because of where I am, there's of course the one thing everybody is expecting to happen...  ANOTHER DRUM SOLO!"  *Single note drum solo follows.*

(There is a large Amish population in Lancaster, PA, just in case people don't get the joke.)

Thank you for explaining the Amish bit, but I'm still missing the connection between the Amish and drums.

Really? He just popped back into the popular scope again with ...fuck. "Foil," was one, "Tacky"! That's it.

Love it so much.

Thank you for explaining the Amish bit, but I'm still missing the connection between the Amish and drums.

It's obvious he was talking about "Amish Paradise," but he did something else. That's the joke.

I got the rest of it, but the drum bit was what was confusing me. Like, how it related.

Let me see if I actually understand what the joke is:

He's leading the audience with something expected (Amish Paradise) but surprising them with something random (drum solo).

Is that what's going on? I feel like this would have been better understood by me if this had been a verbal conversation. >.<
