I was like "ha, that thumbnail makes it look like the lady has a beard."

Then, as you probably already have, I clicked it and saw that that lady does in fact have a beard, and had to go read the article to make sure I wasn't being pranked. 

I still refuse to accept that as being a woman. 

Well, he's a drag queen, not a transsexual from what I gather, so I guess it's just a very pretty man.

I don't know much about it, all I know is he won Eurovision and Tumblr won't shut up about it. I had an interest but I never really spent the time to look it up.

She rocks that beard like a pro and she does a great job of making people question what we think of as beauty. Though it kind of looks like the whole situation threw a lot of politics into the show that maybe biased a lot of votes. Russia completely rejected her as the winner, which isn't surprising considering the country's stance on gay rights.

I don't understand why every article refers to he as a she.

The dude said himself that he is a man and has no plans to change that, he just likes dressing in drag.

That makes him a he in my books.

Even if it is a female persona that gets on stage and sings, the guy is still a guy.

That being said, Russia and Belarus need to chill the fuck out and worry more about their own economical/social issues than bearded man-ladies singing their hearts out pm television.

I saw this on @midnight last night and I was totally intrigued.  Sadly even with the beard i think he is way prettier than me.... maybe I should grow a beard haha
